Police in Radcliffe carried out speeding enforcements on a busy road after many complaints from the community regarding speeding.
Officers were out on Radcliffe Moor Road on Tuesday and stopped several drivers for speeding.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "After complaints from local residents, the Radcliffe Neighbourhood Policing Team arranged for Speed Enforcement to be conducted on Radcliffe Moor Road.
"On Tuesday our Traffic PCSO colleagues were stationed on Radcliffe Moor Road and several drivers were reported for driving in excess of the speed limit.
"If there are any other areas you would like us to attend then please let us know."
Earlier this year, officers from GMP Bury North carried out patrols across the town to target traffic offences, including speeding, insurance and roadworthiness.
Police said residents have raised concerns about traffic offences in the area and have encouraged people to come forward with any issues.
While on patrol on Radcliffe Road, officers stopped one driver who was allegedly travelling at 42mph in a 30mph zone.
Police said another driver was stopped for allegedly not wearing a seatbelt and for allegedly not having valid insurance.
The vehicle was seized and officers issued paperwork for driving offences.
