FOUR impressive acts will be hoping they are quids in at the final of talent contest later this month.
In August, singers Alex Goulding and Heidi Charnock both impressed judges in the first heat of Grosvenor Casino’s GCs Got Talent contest, held at the Moor Lane casino.
The second heat took place on Friday night and on the judging panel was DJ Danny Smash, a former security guard from Breightmet, who has racked up more than 2,000 views on YouTube with his single B-Town about Bolton.
Danny was left on the edge of his seat, such was the level of talent on show.
But the overall winners were musical double act Christina and Paul and vocalist Kat Mather.
Those three will join Alex and Heidi in the grand final, which is due to take place on September 30.
The winner will take home £1,000 and could win a job in showbiz with entertainment firm Ted UK.
A spokesman for the event said: “The standard was really good.
“We’re pleased that so many people have taken part over the last two heats and hope the final caps it all off.”
