Eagley Infant School children learn how to make tie dye T-shirts for Black History Month

YOUNGSTERS designed their own T-shirts as they took part in activities for Black History Month.
Eagley Infant School’s deputy head Tracy Lowton said: “Each T-shirt was special and unique in its own way.
“Their little faces when they got to see what they had made were amazing. When we were teaching the children about figures such as Martin Luther King they kept shouting out, ‘that’s not fair’.
Ms Lowton gave special thanks to Nat Biney who helped out with the event, adding that the school is looking to arrange an African drumming and dancing session.
