Prestons of Bolton worker accused of defrauding shop of £28,000

THE case against a Bolton man facing fraud at a town jewellers has been adjourned for trial.
Christopher Kempster, aged 22, of Woodgate Street, Bolton, who worked as a gold adminstrator for Prestons of Bolton, is facing a charge that he dishonestly abused that position intending to make a gain to the value of £28,186.
Bolton Crown Court adjourned the case, pending the gathering of further evidence, and a trial date was set for April 15, 2014. Kempster denies the charge.
