Breightmet pensioner accused of child sex crimes

A PENSIONER has appeared in court charged with a catalogue of historic child sex offences.
Edward Hill, aged 69, of Exford Drive, Breightmet, spoke only to confirm his name and address at Bolton Magistrates Court.
He is alleged to have indecently assaulted a girl aged between 11 and 13 years between April 1979 and March 1982. He is also charged with raping the girl between April, 1982, and March, 1986, when the girl was aged between 14 and 17.
The case was adjourned. Hill will appear at Bolton Crown Court on Friday, November 8.
