A WOMAN has been spared jail after she admitted punching a pub landlady.
Deborah Blinkhorn, aged 48, of Lee Lane, Horwich, appeared before Bolton Magistrates Court and admitted assaulting Nicola Monks at the Bowling Green Pub in Horwich on January 17.
Magistrates heard how landlady Ms Monks was attempting to usher Blinkhorn out of the pub when was punched twice in the chest.
Blinkhorn was sentenced to an exclusion order, banning her from going to the pub in Lee Lane as well as a restraining order, meaning she cannot go near Ms Monks — both orders lasting 12 months.
She was also fined £250, ordered to pay costs of £200 and told to pay Ms Monks £50 in compensation.
