Weather forecasters say Bolton can expect more glorious sunshine this afternoon with temperatures likely to reach 14 degrees C.

But sunseekers are advised to make the most of it as rain is set to return tomorrow with unsettled weather lasting into the weekend.

The spring sunshine turned Queens Park into a blaze of gold, yesterday.

Parents and toddlers were out in force to enjoy the host of daffodils and pupils from Gaskell Primary School took a little time out from their classroom studies to enjoy the spring sunshine yesterday.
