AN 87-year-old woman passenger has died more than two months after a fatal motorway crash that also killed the driver.
Joyce Livesey died at Royal Preston Hospital earlier this week, more than two months after she was injured in a three-car crash on the M55.
Mrs Livesey was a passenger in the Hyundai Getz when the accident happened on the eastbound carriageway near junction three in Preston at about 7.20pm on January 30.
Jean Watson, from Horwich, was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash, which also involved a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Zafira.
The road was closed for more than seven hours.
Any witnesses are asked to call Lancashire police on 101.
