SHOPPERS flocked to Bromley Cross to sample what independent sellers had on offer at a food and craft fair.

About 20 stalls selling a variety of foods and craft items including paintings, drawings, felted items, needlecraft and poems set up shop in Bromley Cross Village Hall in Darwen Road.

Also on offer to tantalise taste buds were cupcakes and homemade chocolates and there was a Great Cake Bake competition, cafe and live music.

The fair is open between 10am and 3pm on the last Saturday of every month until this November.
