WANDERERS legend Nat Lofthouse has been featured in the world’s first football statue database.
Experts from the University of Sheffield have created the database, which includes more than 350 statues of footballers, managers, chairmen and even fans, spanning 56 different countries.
The list, which can be found online at sportingstatues.com, features information on when the statues were unveiled, who sculpted them and the inscriptions on plinths.
A nine-foot statue of Bolton great Lofthouse was revealed at the Reebok Stadium before a home game with QPR last August.
