Thats all from us for today. McCann is due to give evidence on Wednesday, as is Phil Gartside, although that may be Thursday.

Thanks for following.

12:43pm

Says Jerome Anderson SEM's only "key player" at time of deal.

12:41pm

Insists he would not have known about McCann's desire for a move despite Mr Sheron's personal friendship with him, press speculation, McCann being a previous client of his and the fact a final commission payment from a previous deal was still due.

12:24pm

Says he took control of McCann move to Bolton because of close relationship with Wanderers managing director Simon Marland.

12:16pm

Mr Weston was representing Wanderers in the McCann deal on the paperwork, yet the court hears Wanderers paid tax as if it was a dual representation agreement.

Mr Weston saus he knows nothing about this.

12:13pm

Mr Sheron, unlicensed, worked with Mr Weston because of medical problems reducing his hours, the court hears.

12:07pm

Mr Weston has been discussing his previous acquaintances with Mr McCann.

He was the players agent when he joined Sunderland in 1998. But he was Villa's agent when McCann moved to the Midlands in July 2003.

insists he was not guilty of switching.

Four people, including former SEM colleague Dave Sheron, think he was McCann's agent for the Villa move.

11:13am

Mr Weston agrees he is an innocent victim of "wild" allegations from Mr McGill.

11:09am

Asked whether he personally doctored the contract so it was backdated, he says "no".

This implicates staff at Wanderers.

10:59am

Mr Weston is now in the stand.

10:49am

Wanderers cchairman Phil Gartside will be giving evidence next week.

He will face questions over why he signed paperwork ratifying the signing of Gavin McCann despite club secretary Simon Marland being away.

Mr McGill argues the papers he signed on June 8 could have waited until June 11 when Mr Marland's holiday had finished.

10:46am

Those discussions have finally ended - the amendment will be decided after the trial, Judge David Waksman rules.

Trial to resume in a couple of minutes.

9:57am

We are hearing legal arguments now, surrounding a late amendment put forward by agent Tony McGill.

9:56am

The man at the heart of this law suit, Gavin McCann, is in court.
