A MAN charged with attempted murder had his hearing adjourned after he could not get into the courtroom on his mobility scooter.
Fifty-year-old William Berry, of Masefield Road, Little Lever, was due to enter his plea at Bolton Crown Court today, but the hearing was put back until July 4 so a more suitable courtroom could be used.
His charge relates to an incident in Highfield Road, Farnworth, on October 15 last year, in which a 52-year-old dinner lady at St James School was stabbed.
