DETECTIVES are still searching for clues after a gunshots were fired into a house in Little Hulton on Saturday.

No arrests have yet been made after terrified residents called police at 11.45pm after a window was damaged by gunfire at a house in Crescent Drive.

It is not thought the incident was linked to the spate of shootings in Salford in the last month.

On May 28, a man was shot five times by masked assailants at a pub in Langworthy.

On May 2 shots were fired into a car in Coronation Street, Swinton, while on May 4 a 21-year-old man was chased down Great Clowes Street, Broughton before being shot four times in Curzon Road.

Officers are now searching for two men in relation to the Little Hulton shooting. Both were wearing tracksuits with hooded tops, one of which was blue.

It is understood one woman was in the house at the time but was not hurt.
