A BACON thief has been sentenced to three months supervision by the probation service.
At Bolton Magistrates Court Gillian Smith, aged 38, of Raikes Way, Darcy Lever, pleaded guilty to taking bacon, worth £10 from Kwik Save on August 3 last year and more bacon, valued at £20 from the same store on August 10.
She was ordered to pay the store £10 compensation.
