Bolton Le Moors Inner Wheel club is folding
IT was the end of an era for Bolton Le Moors Inner Wheel Club when members held their last meeting after 34 years.
During that time, the club has donated £58,000 to charity through various events.
The club had to close as members felt unable to take on the duties of officers, said member Margaret Davies.
“We thank all the members who have given so much time to their duty as officers of the club over the past 34 years — it is a very time-consuming task,” she said.
Mrs Davies said it was a time to look back on “all our happy times and the enjoyment we have had together”, adding that friendships forged through the club would continue.
