MASKED raiders attacked a family in their bedrooms as they demanded cash in a terrifying armed robbery.
Four men burst into a home in Coronation Drive, Leigh, at about 11.40pm last night.
They went into the victim’s bedroom and attacked him while they demanded money.
They also went into a bedroom and attacked the victim’s family, before stealing property and fleeing from the home.
The men were between 5ft 7in and 5ft 10in tall, had local accents and were all wearing dark clothes and balaclavas.
Det Con David Fairhurst said: “A group of four masked men forced their way into a family home and attacked a family, before stealing from them.
“This was a horrific and violent attack and a terrifying experience for the victims, who are understandably distraught by this event.
