Walmsley Primary School adapts classic tale of The Little Mermaid

PUPILS at Walmsley CE Primary School in Egerton entertained audiences with an adaption of children’s classic The Little Mermaid.

The school, in Blackburn Road, put on three performances of the musical, which is based on the 19th century fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen.

A total of 114 children were involved in the shows.
