EXCITEMENT is mounting as fundraisers prepare to welcome a world famous Bollywood singer to Bolton.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will pay his first visit to the town, on Tuesday, October 14, to perform at an event in support of Bolton Hospice.

It has been organised by Dr Anjani Kumar and Iqbal Patel, from Deane Medical Centre, and will be hosted by Bolton Excellency Centre.

Dr Kumar said: “It is with great pleasure I have to say that, for the first time, Bollywood artist Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is coming to Bolton.

“We were motivated to do something for Bolton Hospice as we all know it is doing marvellous work in the community.

“I feel we all should support the hospice.

“I am thankful to Rahat who kindly has agreed to help us in raising funds. I’m looking forward to a very enjoyable evening.”

The event will start at 7pm and tickets cost from £25. Visit ticketmaster.co.uk
