TIME is running out to buy tickets for the hottest gig in town next month.

The Chilli Monkeys play their farewell show at the Brinsop on the A6 at Westhoughton — and they are aiming take the total they have raised across five charity gigs since 2010 to £30,000.

The band, which plays a range of covers by bands like Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Stereophonics, Take That and Jessie J, is made up of high flying bankers and lawyers from Bolton and surrounding areas.

The band is fronted by Natwest commercial banking director Ian Settle and other members are guitarist Michael Slater, a partner at Bolton law firm KBL, bass player Scott Woodward, who works for Handlesbanken in Blackburn, and drummer Colin Sykes, who runs his own firm.

Banker Craig Eccles is their sound engineer.

The gig takes place on Saturday, November 29, with tickets priced at £12.50 and all cash raised going towards Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.

Anyone who wants tickets should email Mr Settle at Ian.Settle@natwest.com or people can make contributions by going to their Justgiving page.
