A 51-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged on suspicion of taking photographs up women's skirts in New Look in Bolton town centre.
James Manchand, of Blackhorse Road, Bolton, has been charged with outraging public decency and appeared at Bolton magistrates court yesterday.
Police were called on November 12 after staff at the Hotel Street shop reported a man using a smart phone to take pictures up a woman's skirt.
Staff from other shops later contacted police with separate, similar complaints.
Manchand did not enter a plea and his case will be heard next at Bolton Crown Court on December 5.
