POLICE are urging the public to be on the look-out for a missing teenage girl from Bolton.

Courtney Rankin was last seen about 9.15pm in Deepdale Road, Breightmet, on Sunday.

The 16-year-old is thought to be in either Rochdale or Manchester city centre.

Courtney is white with long dark brown hair.

She was last known to be wearing black leggings, a black zip-up anorak jacket that can be reversed into a red jacket, black Nike trainers and was a carrying a large pink holdall style bag.

Detective Inspector Matt Bailey-Smith, from GMP’s Bolton division, said: "We are extremely concerned about Courtney and just want to make sure she is safe.

"Anyone who sees her, or knows of her whereabouts, is urged to contact police immediately.

"I would also appeal directly to Courtney to please let us know everything is fine and you are safe and well."
