SANTA and his sleigh will be making his rounds in Westhoughton and Horwich.
Westhoughton Rotary Club will be assisting Father Christmas and his trusty steed Rudolph around the streets from 6.30pm.
Despite him being very busy this time of year, the man in red, has promised to meet as many children and adults as he can, until 9pm.
His sleigh, which will be towed by a car, courtesy of Kia, will be touring the following places:
Tonight: Southfield Drive / Green Meadows / Fairways
Monday: Molyneux Road / Captain Lees area
Tuesday: Cherwell Road / Wayfaring
Thursday: Hydrangea Close /Hartford Road / Old Vicarage
Friday: Chew Moor / Metal Box
Saturday: Market Street, Westhoughton (daytime 9am - 1pm)
December 19: The Hoskers / St George’s Avenue / Daisy Hall Drive
December 20: Eatock Way area
December 21: Madison Park / Hunger Hill / Taywood Road
December 22: Wingates / Church Street / Collingwood Way.
Horwich Rotary Club will also be welcoming Father Christmas to its streets and and is hoping that the good girls and boys of the town will help Santa collect more than last year’s total of £7,700.
Santa will be touring the following places from 6.30pm until 8.30pm;
Tonight: Redrow West, Fernhead Ave, Darley, Catherine, Mary and Dickinson
Monday: Butterwick Fields, James Street, Vale Avenue, Mallard Drive, Avonhead Close, Vale Coppice
Tuesday: Hilton Ave, Vale Ave, NuttallAve, Leicester Ave, Berne Ave, Mason Street, Greenstone Ave.
Wednesday: Blackrod (Scot Lane End), Greenbarn Way, and Cheethams
Friday: Blackrod (Church End), Vicarage Road, Anise Road, Harrison Road, Nightingale Road, Coniston Ave, and Latham Road.
