CHILDREN will have an opportunity to break a world record with the help of CBeebies presenter, Sid Sloane.
Westhoughton Community Hub will host the attempt - to engage as many children and adults in the ‘get up, get active’ event as possible.
Participants will copy Sid by jumping up, touching the ground, pulling faces and having fun during an interactive song and dance routine.
The attempt is taking place as part of Children’s Activities Week, which runs between April 30 and May 4.
Hub representatives said: “With our partners Creation Station we will be taking part in ‘Get up, Get active’.
“We need all youngsters, schools, nurseries, playgroups and any adults to join us in a live interactive world record attempt.
“Creation Station and The Hub know that Westhoughton can do this.”
Sid is expected to join the event at 11am.
Families are invited to Westhoughton Community Hub in Central Drive on Monday, April 30 at 10.15am.
To sign up, visit The Hub, or call 01942635985.
