ANNE KANEEN MBE RGN Nee DAVIES On 16th January 2015, peacefully in hospital surrounded by her family, Anne aged 76 years, beloved wife of Robert, much loved mum of Martin, Lesley, Janet and Jon, dear mother in law of Susan, Nick and Gill, a devoted grandma and great-grandma , loving sister of Geoffrey and sister in law of Michael and good friend to many. Senior sister on the Corony Care Unit at Royal Bolton Hospital and founder of Bolton Cardiac Support Group. The funeral service will take place on Monday 26th January, 2015 in Christ Church, Heaton at 2.00pm followed by committal in Overdale Crematorium West Chapel at 3.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired for Bolton Cardiac Support Group (cheques only please payable to the organisation). I am so proud to say I have known Anne since 1978. She was my manager, my role model, but most of all my friend. She was generous and worked so hard. She was never afraid to stand up for what she believed. Anne was never a 'yes' person! Truly someone to have in your corner be it a patient, colleague or friend. I feel very privileged for her to have been my friend. I will miss her very much. My thoughts and prayers are with Rob and all her family at this difficult time.
