GERARD VINCENT AXFORD On 17th March 2017 Gerard passed away suddenly Fortified by the Rites of Holy Church aged 81 years. Loving and devoted husband of Margaret, much loved dad of David and Michael, dear father-in-law of Deborah and Barry, dearly loved grandad of Jack, a loving brother of Josie and the late Margaret, dear brother-in-law of Dennis, dearly loved uncle of Louise and David and a dear friend to many. Requiem Mass will be offered on Friday 31st March in St. William of York R.C. Church at 10.00am followed by committal in Overdale West Chapel at 11.30am. Family flowers only please. I remember" Chopper "from Thornleigh College and Dances at St Peter and Paul's. Always cheerful and good for a laugh. Condolences to all the family from Mike Walmsley (Wambo) in New Zealand.
