DAVID JOHN EVANS On 19th July 2017, David, formerly of Tonge Moor, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Southlands Residential Home, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Sheila, devoted father to Mark and Karen, dear father-in-law of Jean and Simon, much loved Grandad of Madeleine and Henry, loving brother of Dilys and the late Keith. Good friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all. Requiem Mass will be held at St Augustine's Church, Tonge Moor on Thursday 27th July at 10am followed by committal at Overdale Crematorium at 11.45am. Family flowers only, donations if desired to East Lancashire Railway Preservation Society.
