Promises, promises, promises!

I write to express my regrets regarding the proposed Bolton primary school closures and to sympathise with all voters who were seduced by Mr Blair's promises including: Education, education, education!

Sadly, many must have thought they would retain the excellent choices provided by the past Conservative government - parental freedom of choice in schools, full support for best-performing schools etc, plus the extra spending on education.

Slowly, they will begin to realise that their trust was misplaced and that Mr Blair's sole objective is to try to win a second term in office hence the need for his callous agenda of cuts, cuts, cuts, the hope being that he might save sufficient funds to enable him to produce a spending spree before the next General Election so he could recycle his failed policies again.
