Police plea to mystery driver

AN appeal has been made for a mystery motorist to come forward after he took a five-year-old boy home after he was involved in a minor collision.

The accident happened in Gerard Street, Kearsley, at about 5.30pm on Wednesday.The boy was involved in an accident with a blue Vauxhall Astra and suffered cuts and bruises.

He was taken home by the driver of the car who left his details with the boy's mother. Unfortunately, she has lost the information and Bolton traffic police have appealed for the motorist to contact them. If you are the driver call PC Shore on 0161 856 5972.
