Wok fire alert

A WOK with hot oil inside it burst into flames at a kitchen in Harwood after the owner forgot about it.

The fire, which happened at a detached bungalow on Orchard Gardens, destroyed the cooker and caused smoke damage to the rest of the kitchen.

A fire crew from Bolton North attended the incident, at 4pm yesterday.
