Villagers to quiz company boss

ADLINGTON residents are being invited to a meeting with Bargain Booze chiefs to discuss issues arising from the opening of a new off-licence in the village.

The company's national licensing manager, Rick Laithwaite, will be answering questions about the store, which opened in Chorley Road last week despite protests from residents.

The meeting takes place at 7.15pm on Monday, November 10, at the Community Centre in Railway Road.
