MP lends a hand at charity shop

BOLTON MP Brian Iddon will be lending a hand at the Barnardo's shop in Farnworth on Saturday.

Dr Iddon will visit the Brackley Street branch at 9.30am to celebrate the shop's involvement in Make a Difference Day which aims to encourage people to become volunteers in their local community.

During his visit, Dr Iddon will help in the shop and learn about its vital contribution to Barnardo's work among disadvantaged children, young people and families across Greater Manchester.
