M60 closed for jump threat man

BOTH carriageways of the M60 motorway were closed at Whitefield for three-and-a-half hours early on Saturday as a man threatened to jump off a bridge.

Traffic was diverted until the man, who has not been identified, was talked down by trained negotiators at 5.30am.
