It's Farnworth's cup!

FARNWORTH recovered from losing their first four wickets for only nine runs to score 206-7 to win the Hamer Cup.

Opponents Eagley looked to have the current Bolton League leaders on the ropes after posting 205-8. Yet Farnworth's West Indian pro Brenton Parchment came in to hit 62 and Chris Barrow scored 13 fours and three sixes in a matchwinning innings of 82 not out.
