Plenty of brass is just great

I FEEL compelled to write and tell you what my mother expressed as a wonderful afternoon out at Farnworth Park on Sunday, July 31.

Playing there were Eaton Farnworth and Kearsley Brass Band. She said they played every sort of music, to suit every taste, and the band leader was utterly charming.

It was the tonic my mum and her friend Ruth needed as mum has recently had a serious operation.

So keep up the good work, and thank you once again.
