THE jury in the trial of a teenager accused of stabbing a man to death in Bolton town centre has spent a second day considering its verdict.
Jabar Ahmed, aged 19, of Campbell Street, Farnworth, is accused of murdering 25-year-old Rabid Amin in Bradshawgate, Bolton, in November last year. It is alleged that the defendant stabbed Mr Amin to death with a six-inch kitchen knife.
Ahmed denies murder and also denies possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent to cause grevious bodily harm to another man, Sajid Ahmed.
The jury at Manchester Crown Court retired to consider its verdict yesterday. Jurors will resume to consider the case on Monday.
