A CAR retailer in Bolton has unveiled its new look following a £1million refurbishment.

The two-year redevelopment at Vauxhall retailer, Wilson and Co has recently been completed.

Work was split into two phases, with the first phase resulting in a new customer waiting area and new facilities for staff and customers to enjoy at the forecourt in Manchester Road.

The latest phase of the project included the retailer investing more than £1million in a bid to ensure that customers would get the most out their time at the dealership.

This led to the old showroom being demolished, and a new facility built in its place together with a host of features designed to enhance the customer experience.

Robin Wilson, managing director at Wilson and Co, said: “We are delighted with our new look dealership and the facilities we now offer.

“The refurbishment was undertaken with our customers in mind as we wanted to ensure that we were providing everything they needed to feel comfortable throughout their purchase experience.

“It was important to us that the experience they receive is unparalleled as we know that is what keeps customers coming back through our doors.

“We have always been extremely proud of the service and products we offer here at Wilson and Co but with the level of growth we have been experiencing over recent years we took the decision to increase the size of the dealership.

“We wanted to ensure we could continue to offer the facilities and range of choice consumers need and want.

“We undertook a significant project with the refurbishment but we would like to assure our customers that although we have grown, you can still expect the same level of service.

“The team here will continue to offer a bespoke service, tailored to your individual needs.

“The refurbishment wasn’t just about upgrading facilities it was also about growing the dealership and meeting consumer demands.”

Company bosses significantly increased the space available for car displays and now Wilson and Co can accommodate up to 200 cars on the forecourt, which has led to an increase in the level of stock the retailer carries and the choice of vehicles available to customers.

The dealership has also extended its customer car park meaning there is an extra 50 per cent of space for vehicles.
