A £3MILLION transformation of the Bristol Street Motors Ford showroom in Bolton is complete.

The six-month-long development has seen the old showroom and servicing area demolished to make way for a new workshop area, complete with additional vehicle ramps, commercial vehicle ramps and MOT lanes.

Darren Murray, General Manger, said the work had been a massive success.

He said: “The new dealership is outstanding and I’m sure our customers will be very impressed with the results. No expense has been spared and everything, from the service bay equipment to our furniture, is of the highest quality.

The refurbishment works are part of an extensive programme of investment by Vertu Motors plc, the owners of Bristol Street Motors, in all of its dealerships.

It means the new store will meet Ford’s highest standards and will allow its team to sell the full Ford range, including the premium Vignale series and the iconic Mustang muscle car.

Darren said: “The transformation of the dealership is a significant investment by the business and demonstrates the confidence Bristol Street Motors has in the area. We have created a modern dealership, which can provide cutting edge servicing diagnostics, as well as offering the full range of new and used Ford models for private and commercial use.

“The fantastic new environment and equipment is complemented by our continued commitment to delivering exemplary standards of service and we look forward to welcoming new and existing customers alike during our grand opening event.”

The event is taking place from September 7 until September 10, to allow customers and members of the public to look around the dealership. They will have a Ford GT racing car inside the showroom and several Bolton Wanders players will be there, along with the club’s mascot, Lofty the Lion.
