PHOTOGRAPHS taken by Bolton students have gone on display in the town centre.

The exhibition entitled Full Exposure, features the work of students and will be on the display at Market Place, until January 5, from 11am to 4pm.

The majority of students exhibiting are third-year undergraduates studying a BA (Hons) photography course, together with MA students, who not only exhibit but also have planned and produced the exhibition, with the guidance and support of lecturers.

Entry to the exhibition is free with works ranging from portraiture to surreal studies.

Photography lecturer Ian Glover said: “This exposition gives a perfect snapshot of the skills and talents that our photography students develop during their time studying at the university.

“We welcome members of the public to come along as well as anybody considering studying photography, to enjoy exploring our photographers’ work, many of whom go on to careers in the media as well as a range of other industries.”

The university has recently invested in updated large and medium format digital studios as well as in new resources and equipment for its photographic facilities.

Prospective students can investigate photography courses, and all other degree options offered by the University of Bolton, at upcoming open days on January 11 and March 24.
