SCHOOLCHILDREN and adults alike shared in St George’s Day celebrations yesterday.
Students at Daisy Hill Pre School got together for a St George’s Day themed tea party, with patriotic drinks, snacks and face paint.
At the other end of town, staff from Bateman’s Decorators dressed up in full medieval gear for a day out at Great Ale in the Vaults.
Others observed the day earlier, with hundreds of scouts gathering on Sunday for a march through Bolton and pupils and teachers from Bishop Bridgeman CE Primary School spending Friday in the sun learning national songs and making their own flags.
