POLICE are appealing for witnesses of an attempted mugging on January 13.
A 24-year-old woman from Thamesmead was walking down Thamesway, Thamesmead at 9pm when she was attacked.
She was grabbed from behind as she was walking near the round-about near Carlisle Road, in Thamesmead.
She screamed and struggled before the man, who she did not see clearly, ran off.
