Keeping us in the dark
JUST a comment on the proposed ‘white light’ street lighting. (front page, Thursday, October 9) As I understand it, ideally human beings need a dark room to sleep in. Having white light in the streets may be clever on one level, it may indeed it save money on street lighting but if it is detrimental to public health then it is not so smart after all.
