Comedian Dave has animals at heart

ON behalf of The Beat Rescue Group, Bolton branch, and indeed all bears rescued from China's horrific bile farms, we thank Mr Dave Spikey for his kindness and supportive generosity to this charity.
May I also congratulate Dave on his wonderful record breaking achievement on Celebrity Mastermind, where he swept to victory with 33 points, securing the trophy and prize money which he donated to China Bear Rescue Campaign.
Most of The Bolton News readers will recognise Dave as a talented comedian, but may be unaware of his commitment to the welfare of animals, and his deep concern that all creatures deserve lives free from pain and fear.
