IN reply to letters from Cllr John Walsh and Stuart Whittle about the major proposals for the town centre including the student village on Cheadle Square.
Both put up a good argument against the proposal which I and many other residents agree wholeheartedly with.
The plans for the town hall with the intended openings on to Victoria Square — why change the facade of this stately building and do we really want Newport Street to look like Toytown. Will the residents of Bolton be allowed any input into these proposals. I think not.
Cllr Walsh is a man of the people. We need a few more like him in the Town Hall. I applaud his honesty and integrity.
