SOME years ago I returned from work to find that my grey bin had been stolen.
I reported it to the council who said a replacement would be ordered and I would have to pay £20. I asked why and was told that the bin belonged to me and was therefore my responsibility.
They are now planning to take "my" grey bin and replace it with a smaller one. Can the council confirm who grey bins actually belong to?
Also, what happens when bin crews miss a collection one week (this happens regularly around me)? We then have to wait four weeks for our smaller grey bins to be collected.
