B J Walker complains about the removal of the charity canopy and that the market stall is not working.
It should not have been put in Victoria Square in the first place.
The canopy and the stalls in it were an eyesore and not worthy of being in a prestigious square in the town centre.
He goes on to say that most of the charities are unhappy about its demolition but the only ones who have complained in the paper were one or two animal charities.
They were only there for one day each. If they want a town centre site, they should take over one of the empty shops in the town like other charities have done and if necessary share the premises.
