ON Monday I picked my grandson up to take him to Firwood school.
The street on Oldhams estate is always full of cars so it's not easy to park up.
One rather cross parent had to wait until the escort had safely put my grandson on the bus, the gentleman wasn't very happy and was verbally abusing the driver as his own teenager was going to be late for Thornleigh School. I am sure if he is reading this he will remember the incident.
Drivers please have some consideration for drivers and escorts taking children and adults to schools and day centres in Bolton.
They do a fantastic job, we are so grateful for what they do.
My husband witnessed the incident because he was picking our young grandson up to take him to primary school as my daughter needs to wait at home until the transport has picked the older boy up. She would give anything if he was able to go to school himself, so please be patient.
