I FOR one will afford Cllr Cliff Morris little or no sympathy regarding his hypocritical criticism that the number of refugee our town is taking in compared to others is unfair.
Balderdash Cllr Morris, too little too late, the horse has bolted, the damage for some of our schools and other things has been done.
Cllr Greenhalgh is in my opinion right to point out that there's been no objection from him over the last 13 years that the allocation of refugees was unfair, quite the contrary. Cllr Morris has told us on more than one occasion over the years that "we will always have room for vulnerable people in Bolton."
All very commendable one would say but at what price has such a sentiment cost our town and its people?
