Bolton Young Person's Housing Scheme fighting child sexual exploitation
IT seems horrific that in a caring town like Bolton we would need to fight against child sexual exploitation.
Yet, this is a sad fact of life in 2017. So, it’s great to hear that Bolton Young Person’s Housing Scheme has just got a £30,000 grant to help tackle this growing problem.
They have a Buddy project supporting homeless and housed young people at risk of sexual exploitation and the grant means extra workers to support young women and help them avoid negative relationships.
Every good wish to this first-class scheme. It’s obviously an important life-changer and deserves all support.
