ANY town centre needs its key gateways looking impressive. Bolton Council has spent a large amount of money currently doing this.
Newport Street, for example, is already looking much better. Now, the Pharmacy on the corner of Great Moor Street there has been given notice to repair damaged signage and paintwork.
Although we don’t know what has gone on behind the scenes, it’s still important for landmark buildings to look as smart as possible. Once the roadworks there are completed, hopefully the whole area will look more welcoming for visitors and residents alike which is surely what we all want.
