AFTER the way then General Election results panned out, it is not rocket science even for a politician to comprehend that after such a long time of austerity, people have become tired of having their pockets picked by a Tory government that can put Fagan and his gang to shame.
It is a Tory government whose election manifesto promised more of the same taking, but not giving scenario, and a Tory government still not prepared to cut overseas aid, but more than prepared to take from its pensioners and its children's school meals.
So what alternative to the Tories are we blessed with to govern our country?
Sadly, just the borrowing Labour Party, who, to be fair, produced a manifesto of hope.
Having said that, we know from experience if we had to rely on hope to be fed, we'd all die of starvation.
